What you need
- An iPhone running iOS 17 or later.
- An iCloud account, which is almost certainly the one you are already signed into. If you are sharing your library with another app user, they will need their own iCloud account too.
- TestFlight, Apple’s free app for trying beta software. Install that from the App Store first, then open the link above and One Row installs through it.
- The first beta round is limited, so drop me an email if you would like to be considered for the next round.
There is no account to create and no password to remember. Your library lives in your own iCloud rather than on a server of mine, because I do not have one. The privacy policy covers what that means in practice.
What the beta involves
You use the app, and you tell me when something is wrong or missing. That’s the deal.
I am one person building this in my spare time, so the help genuinely matters. It is most useful from anyone running Plex, Jellyfin or Emby, because home server setups vary far more than I can test on my own, and from people whose film nights involve a house full of others rather than just them.
Things will occasionally break. When they do, TestFlight has a Send Feedback option built into it, which is the quickest route because it sends the crash log with it. If you would rather just write to me, email works too.
What happens next
When i am happy with the beta and the bugs have been ironed out it will go to the App Store for approval, at which point it will become a paid ap.
If you have been in the beta and told me helped out with bugs and features, you get the finished app for nothing.
